Role Overview:
Distributors/Dealers act as intermediaries between the company and retailers or customers in target markets, purchasing ceramic tiles in bulk and reselling them. They handle import, marketing, and after-sales activities, establishing networks and maintaining relationships within their designated territory.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Purchase and maintain an inventory of ceramic tiles from the company.
- Retailer Network Establishment: Establish and maintain a network of retailers or sales outlets within the designated territory or region.
- Sales Handling: Handle sales inquiries from retailers and customers within the region.
- After-Sales Support: Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and provide after-sales support within their region.
- Marketing and Promotion: Market and promote ceramic tiles to boost sales in their designated region.
- Financial Transactions: Ensure timely payments and handle financial transactions related to purchases from the company.
- Workshop Scheduling: Schedule workshops with new staff and sales representatives.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, attend product launches, and participate in networking events.
- Supplier Meetings: Arrange meetings with suppliers and develop more effective marketing strategies.
- Stock Sourcing and Negotiation: Source stock and negotiate the best deals with suppliers and vendors.
- Stock Inspection: Conduct stock inspections in a timely manner and report any issues to relevant parties.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Distributor/Dealer or in a similar role within the ceramic tiles industry.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Knowledge of market trends and effective marketing strategies.
- Experience in after-sales support and customer service.
- Financial acumen and ability to manage transactions.
- Excellent organizational and networking skills.
- Ability to conduct market research and analyze trends.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
