Role Overview:
An Agent/Representative serves as the business representative in foreign markets, operating on a commission basis to promote and sell products in regions where the company doesn’t have a physical presence. This role involves negotiating contracts, coordinating deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying Potential Buyers: Identify and contact potential buyers, retailers, or wholesalers in the assigned region to expand the company’s market reach.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify local trends, performance, and competitors, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Product Demonstration: Provide potential customers with demonstrations and promotions, highlighting the benefits of the company’s ceramic tiles.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and terms of sale on behalf of the company, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Information Exchange: Facilitate the exchange of information between the company and potential buyers, ensuring effective communication.
- Logistics Support: Assist with logistics, import regulations, and documentation to streamline the sales process.
- Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive plan in collaboration with the directors of strategic sales to address international specifications and opportunities.
- Ethical Negotiation: Negotiate ethically on price, terms, and conditions consistent with the company’s values and strategic objectives.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and create solution strategies to address customer needs.
- Reporting: Prepare requisite reports such as call reports and trip reports. Submit expense reports and customer call documentation as directed by the manager.
- Sales Activities: Organize and plan sales activities, including attending trade shows, introducing new products, and demonstrating products in-country.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to sales performance, planning, accounts, information, and business expenditure.
- Relationship Building: Develop and grow relationships with key customers, monitor customer satisfaction, and meet sales budget and aligned program partner goals.
- Customer Acquisition: Actively acquire new customers through outbound calling initiatives.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as an Agent or Representative in international sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of market research and trend analysis.
- Familiarity with logistics, import regulations, and documentation processes.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.

- Organized with a keen attention to detail.
